synopsis: Chukka ist ein acht-minütiges Polospiel. Auf einem gefrorenen See in 1800 m Höhe in den Bergen von St. Moritz wird es alljährlich in exklusivem Kreis auf dem Eis gespielt. Der Dokumentarfilm betrachtet Natur und gesellschaftliche Machtstrukturen, die sich in diesem Mikrokosmos eingefroren haben. Polo is said to have originated in Tibet 2600 years ago. It is said to be the oldest team sport in the world and chukka is an 8 minute Polo game.
